9th August is...

Singapore's National Day! Happy birthday Singapore!

Appa and Momo

Zombie Appa. That can't be good.

Appa and Momo from Avatar the Last Airbender. Probably one of the best cartoon series out there.

Dusty blog is dusty.

Quick sketches of live models. Done between 2 - 5 miniutes with a Pilot G-tec C4.

You can see my frustration at the hips of the woman and the guy.
"not getting it right!! ARRGGHHH!!"
*scribble*

Forgot how long this sketch took me. Slightly longer than 5 min?  Hm...

Old man tonal study.

Late for work no more. This thing eats cars too.

Yeah... apologies for the total lack of updates. I was working on a project and finding a job recently. (I got a job! yay!) Wow, it's been six months since this blog was set up. I think I am getting more efficient with working directly in photoshop! I have made some progress. Woo~ Things are slowly settling in place, and I hope to work on old projects! Until the next post! :D

Something new.

One small update! Nothing exciting to post at this moment :(

Infected Mushroom!

Hey there! I'd like to share with you guys that on November, I managed to ambush Erez Eisen of Infected Mushroom outside Zouk to give him this infected mushroom I drew! And the next day, I saw the print posted on the Infected Mushroom facebook! It made me hop around, giggling like a nutjob. Such a great honor to be able to give back to your favourite artists! Thanks Erez, that really made my 2010.  (Meant to post this weeks ago but I was literally drowning with assignments.)

And their really really REALLY fantastic music!!

Things from school.

Oh yes, I haven't mention that I am still in school. Well, I am finishing my final semester in an animation program. So, this post is dedicated to exercises that I have done from a matte painting module. They were done somewhere between late October to early November.

For the first lesson, we were told to paint over  a doodle  done by a lecturer's son within 2 hours.

Here's the result. My brain felt numb after that two hours as  I haven't painted digitally in months. I like the result!

Material study. Managed to capture the nature of the objects!

Photo study of a building.
